Race to Equity Seeks Volunteers

Do you support the work of the Race to Equity Project? Are you interested in contributing to this work? Do you know how to code? Are you familiar with API, and scrapping data from public sources? If you can answer yes to each of these questions, Race to Equity is looking for you!

Race to Equity is seeking out a programmer(s) interested in volunteering time to work with our team. We are specifically looking for someone who can help build an automated system that will allow us to scrape and analyze data we collect from public data sources such as: the Census, Wisconsin’s Department of Instruction, city and county websites, etc.

Your time, commitment and service will make an immense contribution to our ongoing work towards fulfilling our goal of Dane County being a place where all people can succeed; where everyone has opportunity; and where all citizens can live as their full selves with dignity, and justice.  Feel free to circulate widely within your networks.

Interested candidates should email Michelle Robinson, Race to Equity Research Consultant,  at with the subject heading: “R2E Volunteer Call.” Feel free to submit your resume/curriculum vitae (CV), but know that this is optional.
